At Scholarly Elevation Dissertation Consulting, editing services are conducted by Dr. Sclafani and are based on selected turnaround times. The turnaround period begins once both the payment and the document are received through the acknowledgment form provided in your confirmation email.
You will receive a confirmation from Dr. Sclafani once your document has been received and processing has begun.
What’s Included in the Edit
Within the editing service, Dr. Sclafani will:

Review and correct all front matter (title page, acknowledgments, abstract, etc.).

Update and format the Table of Contents and all headings according to your university’s template.

Correct and organize the Navigation Pane for proper document structure.

Format the List of Tables and List of Figures and ensure all tables and figures are consistent.

Verify in-text citations and references using Recite Works to ensure citation–reference alignment.

Review and format all appendices.
-
Identify short or overly long paragraphs that may need revision.
-
Proofread for spelling, grammar, and sentence clarity.

Ensure consistency in spacing, indents, paragraph alignment, and line breaks throughout the document.
What’s Not Included
To maintain academic integrity, Dr. Sclafani does not write, rewrite, or add new content to student documents.
This includes:

Adding or deleting sentences, paragraphs, or references.

Addressing committee comments related to content development.

Creating or inserting new citations or material.

Dr. Sclafani provides feedback and suggestions to help you strengthen unclear or incomplete sentences while ensuring the work remains your own.
